Name: Bard Pokemon Species: Deerling (Summer Form) Age: 19 Gender: Born male; they/them pronouns Appearance: A youthful Deerling with fluffy fur that changes with the seasons and a slightly thin physique. They have large brown eyes and they like to bounce a little when they walk. Description: Bard is optimistic and trusting to the point of being somewhat gullible. They are protective of most living things and will often seek companionship among other Pokémon. Although they may have few practical skills, they are surprisingly mentally resilient and can show exceptional emotional intelligence... occasionally. For all the attention they give to others, they sometimes have trouble processing and understanding their own emotions unless someone helps them through it. History: Born in captivity, Bard belonged to a rescue center for their entire life until their arrival in the Delta Forest. Their mother had been taken in by the center after being injured by poachers, and her injuries were too permanent to release her back into the wild. Bard was hatched shortly after, and together they lived in a peaceful, enclosed forest area frequented by compassionate human caretakers.
