Cyrus gulped as he watched the girl be assaulted by two of the poachers, but then retaliate to kill off one of the others only to be faced down by the soldier.Cyrus reached for a sheath hidden in his pocket, and then remembered his knives had apparently not followed him into the new world that he had been thrown into a few minutes earlier."Great."He muttered as he looked around for a weapon.Spotting a sharp and fallen branch a few feet to his right and outside of the bush, he made a hasty grab for it and move out of the bush ready to fight. [Cyrus is now in combat vs. 3 Humanoid poachers,a Soldier amongst them.5 Turns Remaining] Cyrus charged at the back of the poacher, as fast as he could, and drove the large and sharp branch into the area he estimated to be around the heart with as much force as he could muster up in the heat of the moment.He hoped that he had taken down the soldier,or else he would be in a lot of trouble.Then again there wasn't much room for healing from that kind of injury.

[Serenity is now in combat vs. 3 Humanoid Poachers, a Soldier amongst them. 3 Turns Remaining] The Soldier was hurt, but hardly unable to continue to fighting, turning his back to the freak to kill whoever had wounded him, he made the biggest mistake of his shortened life, Serenity proceeded to force herself, leaping onto the Soldiers' back and placing her hands directly over his temple before whispering 'good night' in his ear, two shocks of electricity instantly killing the Soldier. Seeing their commander fall like that scared the remaining two poachers, but also sent them into a rage, how dare they strike their cap'n down! At least it was a relatively fair fight now, what with it only being 2 on 2. "Dunno who you are Stranger, but owe ya one!"

Cyrus stepped back as he watched the soldier fall to the ground from an electrical attack performed by the girl.Cyrus gave a nod to the Cat Girl, upon recognizing she had spoken to him."No problem."he told her as he spun around to get a look at the two remaining poachers. [Cyrus is now in combat vs. 2 Humanoid poachers.4 turns remaining]

[Serenity is now in combat vs. 2 Humanoid Poachers. 2 Turns Remaining] "Yeah hope you don't mind, but I need to take a breather, think you can handle these two for a few minutes? Just need to get my breath back..." She did indeed sound breathless, almost winded as she bent down and put her hands on her knees, breathing shallow and heavy, *Gonna need to really work on my think first, act later thing, I can't keep doing this.* Regardless of whatever this males response was, Serenity was not going to be battle-ready for a few minutes at the least, it was obvious she was suffering, and being tapped in the magic department certainly didn't help her cause any.

Cyrus glanced over the poachers again and gave a nod,"Sure, I guess I could."he said as he yanked the branch out of the soldier's corpse and charged at the two poachers that remained standing.He ducked under the arms of one,who made a failed attempt to grab him, and drove the stick into his leg causing them man to topple over.Cyrus reached for the branch again, but was met with a kick to the back from the one poacher he hadn't been paying attention to.Cyrus reached for a near by rock and managed to grab it and yanked his hand away only to see a boot placed in its exact position.Cyrus turned and chucked the rock up at the standing poacher, which struck him in the eye and knocking him over as well.Cyrus then scrambled to his feet and scooped up the branch then plunged into the side of the first soldier who birthed in pain.Cyrus pulled it out and turned to face the other who now stood with a hand covering up his right eye and a look of rage on his face.Cyrus swallowed nervously. [Cyrus is now in combat vs. 2 Humanoid poachers.3 turns remaining]

Lynn had gasped for air when she reached the water's surface. The water that had gotten into her lungs had caused a coughing fit that lasted several minutes. During this, she'd picked up on a voice mentioning something like poachers, then noises that sounded like a battle happening nearby. When she finally caught her breath, she decided to see what was going on. After all, poachers in the TV world sounded very unlikely. She made her way towards what she thought was the right direction, careful in taking her steps this time, as she didn't want another plunge into the water. The fog seemed to clear in the direction she was going, and soon she could see clearly. That was when she noticed the ongoing battle between two...wait, were those actually poachers? "Impossible", she uttered. The other two were a man who seemed to be around her age, and a younger-looking female fox-like girl. Huh, you really do see something new every day here, she thought. They both looked like they could use some help, and there wasn't a moment of hesitation in Lynn's next actions. [Lynn is now in combat vs. 2 Humanoid poachers. 3 turns remaining] She took a deep breath and closed her eyes to focus. "I am thou...Mazionga!" Expecting bolts of lightning to run down on the poachers, Lynn was quite surprised when nothing ended up happening. Not even her Persona, Otohime, had appeared to help her out. Was she not in the TV world? But that was impossible, she'd gone through the TV at Junes, she was certain of it. "Oh well, no time to dwell on that", she said softly as she realized one of the poachers had taken notice of her. She reached for her sheath which normally held her rapier, only to find that missing as well. "Great..." she said with a groan. Hand-to-hand combat would have to do for now; thankfully she'd helped Chie practice a few times back in Inaba, so she knew some tricks at least. And if nothing else, at least she'd distracted one of them.

Cyrus took notice of a girl nearby who seemed to come from out of nowhere and spoke understandable words at first, followed by one he couldn't understand or pronounce.Then again, all he really cared about was the fact that she had distracted the poacher from him, and with the other disabled from his wounds he took the opportunity to plunge the now bloodied branch through the man's chest hopefully taking him out for good.As Cyrus pulled the branch out of the man's chest cavity he watched the body thunk on the ground, and sighed with relief at the sight.Little did he know though, the other poacher wasn't exactly disabled and had gotten up to his feet again,clenching the wound in his side. [Cyrus is now in combat vs. 1 Humanoid poacher.2 turns remaining]

[Serenity is now in combat vs. 1 Humanoid Poacher. 1 Turn Remaining] Serenity focused on her breathing like she'd been taught, slowly getting it back to a normal state as the male performed a decent job of attacking with just a stick for a weapon, *Note to self, clear prior experience with weaponry, keep eye on.* With her breathing regulated, she noticed one of the wounded headed another new person, being sufficiently rested for a couple of spells at least, she went to the ground and slammed her hands on the ground, focusing her magic on the earth... The last Poacher suddenly found their legs encased in stone and their arms forcefully tied behind their back by vines, her last act before ending her portion was to smile evilly before sinking her fangs into the poachers shoulder, "That's payback for earlier jackass, don't bother getting back up, you're dead anyway.* turning her back to the poacher, tail swishing violently in stress, she clapped her hands above her head, the poachers legs were crushed immediately, the bones naught but dust now...

Cyrus turned around at the sound of what sounded like more combat,only to see the final poacher being brought down by the Cat Girl by using what appeared to be earth magic.Cyrus let out another sigh of relief and drove the sharp end of the stick into the ground and leaned up against it."Thank god thats done...."He said as he looked around at all the bodies littering the once clear forest floor.
