Pokemon Farming: Zangoose

Welcome to today’s Farmer’s Choice: Zangoose!
For my choice today I chose Zangoose. I chose this one for several reasons. One of the reasons is the fact that Zangoose is one of the better Normal types around, with great Attack and solid Speed stats, an ability that prevents it from being poisoned, not to mention its ability to learn a good variety of move types, including Bug, Dark and Fighting (great for going against other Normal types!). I also chose this one as I’ve been getting quite a few requests for it over on the forums, so I thought “What better Poke to farm than one that everyone is asking for anyways”? :)
Normally Zangoose is rather difficult to obtain. You can either catch it in Ruby at Route 114 and migrate it in through the Pal Park (which a lot of people don’t have yet, as you can only use the Pal Park once the Elite Four have been defeated), you can Snag it in Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness (and there’s only one available in the entire game), or if you have Ruby inserted into the GBA slot, you can find it on Route 208. Seeing as there’s a lot of people who don’t have a copy of Ruby, that means there’s a lot of people who are out of luck with this one. Until now.
As a public service to those who want it, you now can obtain it without the benefit of Ruby, and without the benefit of a Game Cube. How? Simple: from me! And here is all you need to do:
All you need to do (catchy, no?):
- Leave a comment below with your trainer info. I have had to clean out my pal pad, so for most of you I will need your info!
- Have something to trade. I will take absolutely anything, but I am still working on my National ‘dex, so I do prefer Non-Sinnoh Pokemon. Also, items are not necessary but will be happily accepted. I’m still trying to collect all the berries and I really need berry #’s 59, 61-64.
- Be in the Wifi room at 8:00 EDT/7:00 CDT and be in Trade Mode (Invite -> Trade). I will come to you when I’m ready.
- My info is: Trainer name – Bott, FC – 2320 2629 3165.

You’re very welcome, Hikari! I don’t know what we’re doing tomorrow, but there’s definitely a farming event this Saturday, check this site out Saturday morning for all the info :) We usually do 5 events a week but this week was a bit short, two of the farmers were on vacation.
