Pokemon Farming: Staryu

In honor of my recent trip to the shoreline…
The Pokemon Staryu has been around since the early days of Pokemon. It is a genderless Water Pokemon (need Ditto to breed) that evolves with the help of a Water Stone into the Water/Psychic Pokemon Starmie. Remember this though, with the exception of Water Gun at level 28 Starmie gains no new moves from leveling up. You can teach the Pokemon TM and HM moves but otherwise you want the move set in place before you evolve.
You can catch this Pokemon in Diamond and Pearl by going to Canalave City or Sunyshore City and Fishing with the Super Rod but why go through all that trouble when you can get one right here?
Staryu can be hatched with one of two abilities:
- Illuminate: When Staryu is in the first party slot, Wild Pokémon appearances are more frequent
- Natural Cure: Status Conditions are healed when withdrawn from Battle
Because Staryu is genderless you can not pass on cool egg moves. Sadly these Pokemon only have Tackle and Harden as moves.
Rules
1. I don’t care what you trade me though I would prefer a non-Sinnoh Pokemon.
2. The Pokemon you trade to me must be holding something.
3. I prefer berries over all other items.
4. The only exception to berries are the two items that Magby/Elekid hold when caught in the wild.
5. For berries I need: 60+.
6. When you leave your information in the comments below your trainer name must be correct. When I do the trading I refer to the comments on the site to see who gets what.
7. When you enter the Wi-Fi zone select the trade option and wait for me to select you.
8. If you can, be early. I am sometimes on early.
9. Don’t be afraid to trade amongst yourselves.

Steve’s a pretty busy guy and so he might not have the time to do all the trading back-and-forth that a couple of you have requested. Your best bet is to either trade with each other while waiting for Steve on wifi tonight, or simply go to our forum at forum.pokefarm.com and leave a post asking for help with the trading back and forth. There have been plenty of people who were looking for trading buddies like that, so if you leave a post you should have no problem at all finding someone to trade with. Check it out!

I am not going to be trading since I realized that you meant #60 or above berry not 60 berries.
Even if you don’t have a berry that he needs you can still trade him, just trade him any berry that you have! A berry that he’s missing is not a requirement of trading, he’s simply stating which berries he’s missing, that’s all.
