Pokemon Farming: Rhyhorn

For today’s Farmer’s Market I’ve decided to do the powerful Rock/Ground type, Rhyhorn. This incredibly strong beast first showed up in the original Red and Blue with his only evolution of the time, Rhydon. Both forms have astounding Attack and Defense stats, though the Special Attack and Special Defense stats leave a little to be desired. With the latest generation, a new evolution has been added, Rhyperior, boasting even higher Attack and Defense stats! Going through the evolutions is a chore, but it’s worth it. Rhyhorn doesn’t evolve into Rhydon until level 42, and you can’t get Rhyperior unless you do a Trade Evolution with Rhydon while it’s holding the rare item, Protector.
The move sets for these guys is pretty amazing, with quite a few powerful Physical attacks, not to mention the one-hit KO move Horn Drill, and the strong Bug-type move Megahorn. With Rhyperior, you can learn one more move than Rhydon, the powerful two-turn Rock-type move Rock Wrecker, with an attack of 150!
It takes a little while for Rhyhorn to start learning some of the better moves, so I’ve helped it out a little bit. Taking a cue from my fellow Farmer BruGuy, I’ve bred these guys with a special moveset: Fire Fang, Ice Fang, Thunder Fang and Crunch! These are completely legit, non-hacked; I’ve bred them all myself!
You can get one of these toothy Rhyhorns for yourself, and this is all you have to do:
- Leave a comment below with your Trainer Name and Friend Code. I’ve had to dump my Pal Pad several times now so I’m probably going to need your information again. Also, please make sure your information is correct! I’ve had a few problems lately with people leaving incorrect information, which I am therefore unable to enter into my Pal Pad: the Pal Pad will not accept incorrect information.
- Have something to trade. I will take anything at all, but I do prefer non-Sinnoh Pokemon. Also, items are not necessary but they are appreciated. I could really use a couple Moon Stones, and I’m still missing a couple berries: berry #’s 53, 59, 61 and 62.
- Be in the Wifi Room by 8:00 Eastern/7:00 Central on Wednesday, August 29, 2007, and be in Trade Mode (Invite -> Trade). I will come to you when I am ready.

LOL, um, yeah….I’d been trying to breed a Rhyhorn with this moveset for sometime, I could get two of the Fang moves into the baby but not the third, so your Electrike kinda filled in the gap :)
