Pokemon Farming: Ralts

Ralts has a new option in this fourth generation. Male Kirlia can evolve into Gallade by using a Dawn Stone on them.
Gallade has similar base stats as its counterpart Gardevoir, but its strength is as a Physical Attacker rather than a Special Attacker. Poor little Ralts can’t learn many physical attacks, but it doesn’t need to as Gallade learns strong STAB moves as Psycho Cut and Close Combat as well as Night Slash and Leaf Blade as level up moves. Earthquake, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Poison Jab, Aerial Ace and X-scissor can all be taught to it by using TMs. Now thanks to Platinum move tutors it can learn Thunderpunch, Fire Punch and Ice Punch. All these attacks, a base Attack stat of 125 and the ability to learn Sword Dance as a level up move makes Gallade a force in any battle.
There are many different strategies for using Gallade and I bred these little Ralts with some moves to utilize them.
Hypnosis
The strategy here is known as Sleep and Sweep. Put the opponent to sleep, Sword Dance and sweep away or skip the Sword Dance and start sweeping right away. Gallade can break down a lot of different walls this way and make those slow bulky types pay.
Thunder Wave
If you are leery of accuracy of Hypnosis, you can use Thunder Wave to paralyze your opponent and give Gallade a speed advantage.
Another strategy is the Double Status. Since most opponents will switch out after hypnosis, you can greet the incoming pokémon with Paralysis and cripple two of your opponent’s pokémon.
Substitute
This move uses 1/4 of its HP to create a substitute. Attach a Salac berry to Gallade and sub away. Sword Dance behind you sub’s protection and when the Salac berry kicks in, you will have boosted both your Attack and Speed.
Shadow Sneak (Ghost, Power 40, Acc 100)
A priority move that Ralts can learn that gives Gallade a first attack move that is super-effective against Ghost and Psychics. Strap a Focus Sash on Gallade and its many attacks and it can serve as a counter to most leads and Shadow Sneak can counter any opponents that might be also be sashed.
All these Ralts will be Adamant (+Attack, – SpAttack) males with a Dawn Stone attached. When evolved, Gallade will have the ability of Steadfast which will raise its speed one level (50%) every time it flinches. These Gallades will make excellent False Swipers as they learn False Swipe at level 45 to go with their two status inflicting moves to help you capture wild pokémon.
