Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl are here!

This morning I took my daughter down to the local GameStop store to buy our pre-ordered copies of Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl. All I can say is wow! These games are far better than I was expecting.
We had gotten the call a few days prior from GameStop telling us our games would be ready for a 9:00AM pickup… Well, something happened at the local store and they did not open until 10:00AM. Let me tell you, that was a long hour to wait!
Since we were first in line it was a simple in and out for us. We got our two styluses and the stylus holder. they were offering the big guide book for 20% off but, I want this game to be fun and full of surprises so those books are off limits until we beat the game.
See, that is one of the best things about getting a new pokemon game, the wonder. Yeah, I know now what types some of the new beasties are but, when you first encounter a new pokemon you have to guess its type until you actually catch one. That’s the fun part for me. It’s not about beating the pokemon it’s all about meeting them and facing the unknown!
After about seven hours of playing this game (I got Pearl) I have now beaten two gyms. My pokemon are near level 20 and I’m having a great time!
I went with Chimchar as my starter and my daughter took Piplup. One of her friends took Turtwig so, eventually, we will all have one of each starter.
Interestingly enough, within a half hour of play time my daughter managed to catch her first shiny pokemon ever, a Shinx! She was so excited she started calling her friends. I was excited for her as well because I know how rare it is to get a shiny pokemon.
For the main gameplay areas you do not need your stylus. In fact, even when I need to use the touch pad for something I just use my finger or the control pad. Most everything can be done with the control pad. I find it faster and easier that way.
Not messing around with the old GBA link cables is awesome!
The Wi-Fi section is also awesome! It’s about time they added a world-wide connection center for the pokemon games.
I’ve just started dabbling in the underground areas so I do not have a strong opinion about that area yet. I’ll let you know more as I know more.
One big difference that I am finding is the lower EXP payout from most encounters. My speed record for beating Pokemon Ruby is about 12 hours. Within six hours my pokemon (in Ruby) were already well past level 26, not so in Pearl. I’m just not getting the EXP payout like before. Not sure if there are simply less trainer battles or what…
If you are a pokemon fan you should already have these games!

go north east from pkemon medic place in solecoon or solecoom and go in cave. unknown pops out. look/get all 150 pokemon for a national pokedex from pr.oak at this professors house place.

U need to complete the sinno pokedex and then get the national dex and then go to pal park.

you cant catch a mew, only with the mew glitch in red blue versions, unown can be caught in the cave right of solacean town, no natnl dex needed

get a gba pokemon game and make your pokemon hold a master ball then save and turn off the game and mirgrat that pokemon on
a cheat for you pokemon fans that like master balls.
get a gba pokemon game or all 5 and make your pokemon hold a
master ball save and migrat that pokemon (note that weak pokemon are better to migrat) and you will have two to six master balls
ive caught every unknown what is there purpose?
you go to the other side under veilstone now the maniac digging the cave will have dug up the whole tunnel go through it and there will be 2 N E W unknown, ? and !(the puntuation marks)

Where Unknown is, do you have to go to the place with the rain?
u go to solacean town goto the north east of town there should be a cave there get to the lowest floor in that room there are 4 pokeballs get all of them now just walk around in there until an unkown apears it’ll be level 20-22 use a quick ball and that should catch it

Ok, this is how you get the unknowns. first fly to soleaceon town, then take 4 steps left, 9 steps up, 9 steps right, 7 steps up, 20 steps right, 16 steps down, 4 steps right, 5 steps up. now go down any of the stairs and unknown will be there. remember these directions should be followed from outside of the pokémon center in soleaceon town. and a good tip for catching them, use a quick ball or a dusk ball straight away and you are garuanteed a catch no fighting needed =) hope this helped c ya
u got 2 go 2 solecean town and go to northeast corner. go there and go alll the way 2 da right then jump down like two ledge things and there will be a cave. (with the unown).

Im really happy for her!I just get lame shinys like my shiny wurmple on my emerald and shiny oddish on ruby.Although my shiny shellos on diamond is ok and my shiny nidorino on emerald and shiny venonat on firered are nice, but I much rather have a shinx! Basically I think thats great. Congrats!

go to the iron island. get to the cave and walk till a girl asks you to get her in the end of the cave(you have to beat 2 team galactic grunts) the she says that she’ll give you an egg. it’s riolu the first form of lucaria

You CANNOT catch mew on pearl or diamond because their is no Faraway Island in sinnoh region, u can migrate it from emerald/ruby/sapphire though….
For all those peeps who think u can get mew on diamond or pearl through nintendo event, YOUR WRONG!!!!
The event items u get for pearl and diamond are the Azure Flute, Oaks Letter and something else….. and these lead you to Arceus, Darkrai and Shaymin.

ok to catch event pokemon (arceus,darkrai and shayman) cheat to get the items or go to an event that easy!to get mew,lugia and deoxys you HAVE to use the pal park! (to use pal park put gba game into ds on diamond/pearl menu there’s new option,select it.then choose 6 pokemon to transfer over,go to pal park and you get 6 master balls to catch them with!)to change deoxyes’s forms go to meteorites in the city with game corner! as for unknown ur thick if u don’t understand the others!
