Jirachi is Available Now in U.S. and Mexico

The next event has been announced in preparation for the upcoming release of HeartGold and SoulSilver. It will be the wishmaker Jirachi that will unlock the Night Sky’s Edge PokeWalker course in those games. These will be given away at Gamestops in the U.S. and Puerto Rico and at Game Planet in Mexico from February 27 to March 13th, 2010. Click here to find the location of the nearest Gamestop to you. These Jirachis will be at level 5 and will be holding an rare Liechi Berry that will boost its attack when its HP is low. They will come with a Classic Ribbon and know the following moves:

Wish
Confusion
Rest
Draco Meteor, which is a very powerful Dragon type move that cannot be taught to Jirachi any other way

    As per usual you will need to have:

  • Room for the wonder card (can’t have more than three)
  • A North American version of Diamond, Pearl or Platinum and a DS
  • Have obtained the Pokedex

Remember, you can only get one Jirachi per game chip. You can, however, trade them to another game and restart your game thus allowing you to get as many Jirachis as you can want if you are willing to grind through the intro part of the game over and over again.
Gamestops and Game Planet are also giving away figurines with pre-orders of HeartGold and SoulSilver while supplies last prior to their March 14th release date and don’t forget to pick up your shiny Pichu which is available until February 14th.

Gah. Now the UK is 3 events behind. Come on Nintendo UK! We are deffo last now. Even Aus got Arceus and may get PCP before UK :(
