I didn't do the breed test last week because I got halfway through and decided I'd rather just play Slime Rancher instead; but I did it today instead so here's that. I ended up going a little over on the 32k mark but it doesn't affect the overall numbers.
Egg totals with screenshots below:
6,400 interactions: 100 total eggs; 92 shroomish, 8 apoc. (8%)
32,187 interactions: 500 total eggs; 448 shroomish, 54 apoc. (10.7%)
48,000 interactions: 750 total eggs; 676 shroomish, 74 apoc. (9.9%)
64,000 interactions: 1000 total eggs; 904 shroomish, 96 apoc. (9.6%)

ok edit for actual hunt update:
now at 16/1,139 for apoc. shroomish. i genuinely can't remember if i've been using the albino radar at all skldjfsd, but definitely no shiny boosts. i've been mostly hatching a few eggs here and there but i'm gonna see if maybe i can bring back some of my activity to the site. if i end up actually hatching more than my 6 free daycare adopts i might switch hunts to a normal pokemon so i use shelter adopts instead
also i'm thinking about finding a place to back up some of my posts on here; i definitely need to back up the highlight codes and the pair charts, but i'd like to also keep record of my other stuff, like the apoc. shroomish egg test i did a few posts ago.
i need to think about arceus rank again actually. its kind of hard to keep up with thinking about hunts and bonuses bc the reality is that i dont rly care about it? like ive never particularly cared about getting results for hunts, i've stood by that the hunt itself should be the most fun, but my overall interest in pokemon is waning, not just bc of natural disinterest, but also bc ive kind of lost faith in it being a good series all in all. and im not talking about "oh these new pokemon are all bad" but more like "the video game industry is awful in terms of business practices" and so new stuff like the diamond/pearl remakes and even legends just make me feel kind of exhausted.
ok priority list bc i ♥ lists:
-type race until it ends
-tourneys for new eggs
-other missing eggs/pokemon
-gathering money in general
Single Gender Breeding Chart, updated September 25, 2023. Notes below.
-Hatterene has no compatible (confirmed) partners with the same type and body shape.
-Exclusives can pair to 99% with other exclusives; the Valkind and Caprikid lines can pair with each other, and both can pair with the Valimp line.
Single Gender Pokemon with counterparts (Max % is 89):
-Tauros (all forms) + Miltank
-Volbeat + Illumise
-Rufflet/Braviary + Vullaby/Mandibuzz
The best partners can reach 85% and share a type and body shape. Based on this, I grouped together pokemon of the same family if they have the same type(s) and body shape; on the partners side, I added pokemon that match those requirements, even if they haven't been tested, because I see no reason to wait for confirmation if we already know they fit.
If you reach a 75% pair with a certain partner, please let me know so I can remove it. Percents so far are in ranges of 10 (inclusive), so if you get a 75% pair, then that means the max can't be higher than 84%.
The only exceptions to the above are Hatenna, Hattrem, and Alcremie; since they have no partners that match type AND body shape, I included partners that have been confirmed to reach 80/81%. Here are some other possible partners for them (and Hatterene):

Genderless % Chart - Updated September 24, 2023
Click here for Single-Gender Pokemon pairs.
Organized by dex number; Ranges in bold are unknown or incomplete
*Falinks and Tandemaus/Maushold can partner with another of its own line to reach 90+%.
Pairs that were set before a certain date (sometime in 2018/'19) may be higher due to changes in the breeding system
For Unown:
They breed with each other. The highest % possible is 60; OT does not matter (i.e. two unown hatched by you can still reach 60%). Use Eltafez's Calculator for help seeing which parents produce which children.

I paused Apoc. Shroomish in favor of hunting Weedle for one of the tourneys a few weeks ago, and just hatched my first shiny today (no boosts other than the occasional sei boost like today)
I also got enough poison gems that I started upgrading my badge to Nintendium and got through just over half of the evos needed. Since I can now get all the egg dexes I'm missing, I figured I'd end the hunt today and get those instead.
I'm not sure what my next hunt will be; I'd like to do an easy dragon evo hunt to get the last few evos I need for my badge, but that... doesn't really exist. I wouldn't mind hunting Trapinch for a while, and since I don't plan on using any boosts for a while, I don't really need to worry about missing out on flawless gems. For the time being though, I'm just going to casually hatch lab eggs and get my last dex entries to Arceus.
I just got around to seeing the past few exclusives I haven't been keeping up with the discovery thread whoops and I actually really like Exilant ? Scorupt is giving me major Super Paper Mario vibes somehow, as like a strange mix of the Megabite and Jawbus enemies. I'll keep it in mind for a hunt when it's breedable.

Honestly the main reason I redid the single gender pair chart like that is that I literally never want to have to change it again. New pokemon? Fine, I don't mind adding that. But periodically tweaking numbers by 1% or occasionally adding a new partner over the course of several years is so mind numbingly slow, especially since people are just going to use the same confirmed partners over and over instead of looking for new possibilities. If there's a pattern to what works for partners, then there's no reason to keep twiddling my thumbs and waiting for other people to confirm them lol.
Random note, but I think I forgot some possible partners for the hatenna line? I couldn't find a good list of pokemon that organized by the egg groups AND the types AND the body style, so I had to manually check each pokemon and I'm pretty sure a few fell through the gaps in terms of matching body styles or other typings.
Also, if you're going to tell them that a partner doesn't work, then you need to show me a 75% pair with them. Percents so far are in ranges of 10 (inclusive), so if you get a 75% pair, then that means the max can't be higher than 84%.
I've been thinking about changing my about me and having an actual layout/theme, but like..... I don't have anything to put there lol. All I really consider essential are the links to my various codes and charts. And proto man of course. But other than that, it's just filler and I don't care about showing off melans or hunts.
anyways here's the basics of what I was thinking about if I did change it
