Yeah...I guess people may also be busy because summer vacation is a thing? I don't really know. Speaking of characters, in my case Lynn will be leaving in the future (will be a while from now though, haven't entirely decided when yet), she'll be around as an npc-ish character though. And Iliya will be joining the group permanently later...once the whole thing with Seth is over. So I'll be posting her character sheet already, but it's for, well, a much later point beware for the long copy paste: Name: Lucia Kirche Raggs (commonly known as Iliya) Age: 16 (human), ~1000 (Vertrag/Mikhail) Gender: Female (though Mikhail is male) Race: Ghost (Seven Ghost Vertrag) / Vessel for the Archangel Mikhail Mental State: - Sane-ish (on arrival). - (Near) Broken (after having been around Seth). Appearance: Iliya appears as a human and is a slender young woman with shoulder length white-blonde hair and pale grey eyes, who stands at around 5’0. Iliya wears her world’s apprentice-bishop uniform, consisting of a long white robe that falls to her ankles, with black trousers underneath and brown, knee-height boots. She wears a shawl over her robes with the cross of the Barsburg church decorated on it. She has the same cross as a tattoo on her lower back, as proof that she is an (apprentice) bishop. Around her neck she has a ‘Promise Collar’x from her universe that she keeps well-hidden underneath her clothing. The Ghost symbol of Vertrag is located on her right hand, though hidden beneath her gloves and glows when she uses an extensive amount of her Ghost abilities. In her Ghost form, Iliya appears as a hooded skeleton wielding a large scythe. When Mikhail takes over, Iliya’s irises turn red and the red stone that is embedded into her right hand becomes visible. Weapon of Choice: - Baculus (type of staff bishops use to channel Zaiphon, her world’s version of magic), though she’s also versatile at using Zaiphon without a weapon. - Scythe. Her Ghost form always wields one, said scythe being a part of Vertrag and thus can’t be separated from her, though she’s also capable of summoning and using her scythe without entering her Ghost form. - Plants. Iliya has learned to manipulate plants using her healing Zaiphon, being able to make them grow from anywhere and she has a wide knowledge on them. Through her mother’s bloodline, she also has the ability to converse with them, giving her a wide network of information. - When Mikhail takes over, he can create bone-like protrusions from the area surrounding the Eye on Iliya’s hand that he can extend at will and are as sharp as blades. Personality: Iliya shares many personality traits with other incarnations of both Vertrag and Profe; like the other incarnations of Vertrag, she is kind and caring to those around her, as well as courageous and selfless. Like Profe, she’s very patient, almost impossible to anger and has a (usually hidden) mischievous & playful side to her. She’s very protective of people she cares about, and although she doesn’t like hurting humans in the slightest, she’ll use her powers if the situation calls for it, though is inclined to ‘talk things out’ or ‘give herself up’ rather than to use them to protect herself. She also has an excellent memory, and through Vertrag’s soul has access to several centuries worth of knowledge. Although she has the power to look into people’s soul and memories through Vertrag’s abilities, she doesn’t enjoy using it, and will only do so when the situation calls for it. Iliya’s run-in with Seth has had a considerable impact on her personality. She has become overly distrustful and cautious towards anyone, to the point of being completely terrified by anyone coming near her. Mikhail’s personality is almost the complete opposite of Iliya’s: he has a rude, aggressive and hotheaded nature and tends to be rather childish. He’s also arrogant and head-strong, always believing he’ll be able to win a fight. He takes pride in his status as a god/archangel, will generally refuse help in battle and feels insulted when others underestimate him. He can be seen as ruthless, having little to no regard for human lives, and has a black-and-white sense of justice at all costs. He considers it his right to give orders to others and expects them to be obeyed. He is, however, not above expressing gratitude to others when he believes they deserve it. When he does view someone as his ally, he trusts them and is loyal to them. When it comes to Iliya, Mikhail’s personality is different; he adores her, considers her to be his Mistress and treats her with great respect and admiration. He’s fiercely loyal to her and is willing to protect her at any cost if it’s in his power to do so. History: Iliya was born into the royal Raggs family as Lucia Kirche Raggs, and is the daughter of Fea Kreuz Raggs and Astrea Krat. Both her parents were human vessels to the Seven Ghosts (Vertrag and Profe respectively), making Iliya a direct descendant from two different Ghost bloodlines: something considered to be forbidden due to the Ghost bloodlines not being allowed to merge. Because of this Iliya’s birth hasn’t been mentioned in any official records, and the young child was brought to the Barsburg Church instead, where she was raised as if she were a church orphan by her father. When Iliya had just turned six, the Pope tricked the King of Raggs into changing the container of Pandora’s Box to Iliya. Fea Kreuz discovered this and ‘stole’ the new Pandora’s Box, taking Iliya back to Raggs Castle. There, Iliya and Fea Kreuz met with her uncle, the king, who’d realized his mistake. The King then passed the Eye of Mikhail to Iliya, making her its new vessel to ensure Iliya’s soul would be protected against the contents of Pandora’s Box. When word got out about Fea Kreuz’s actions, Barsburg waged war on the Raggs Kingdom, leaving it completely destroyed. During the war her father, in an effort to keep Pandora’s Box safe from Barsburg, vowed to escape with Iliya and travel to the Land of Seele, the only place that could permanently destroy the contents of Pandora’s Box; the true body of the Death God Verloren that had been sealed away a thousand years ago. They were pursued by the Barsburg military’s elite team known as the Black Hawks, the leader of them having been Iliya’s paternal uncle, Ayanami. Knowing they didn’t have much time left, Fea Kreuz sealed Iliya’s memories, not wanting the Eye of Mikhail and Pandora’s Box to fall into the Imperial Army’s hands. Ayanami killed Fea Kreuz, absorbing Vertrag’s soul and placed a ‘Promise Collar’ around Iliya’s neck, recognizing the child as his niece and intended to take her back with him. However, being a member of the Raggs family, her existence would forever remain a threat to the Barsburg Empire, and as such he kept her identity a secret to his superiors, wanting Pandora’s Box for himself. Ayanami eventually got permission from his superiors to keep the young child as his slave and over the next three years he trained and abused the girl in a harsh manner, taking half her soul and often probing her memories to find the location of Pandora’s Box. During this time half of Vertrag’s soul managed to escape Ayanami and hid itself carefully in Iliya’s body. After the three years passed, Iliya had to undertake the military exam and, once again disobeying a direct order from a superior to kill a criminal, she was ultimately killed by Ayanami and her body was dumped in a valley nearby. Vertrag’s soul then revived Iliya, allowing her to live on as his vessel and restoring all memories of hers that didn’t involve Pandora’s Box or the Eye of Mikhail. After her revival, Iliya was brought to the Barsburg church by Frau, who’d found her unconscious and battered body. After a long recovery period she finally opened up to him and spent a lot of time with him, with Frau giving the girl her new name and the two eventually became romantically involved. During this time, she also became very close friends with Castor and Labrador. Through them she learned that the previous Ghosts were betrayed and killed by the Ghost Landkarte, and that they were the new Ghost vessels for Zehel, Fest and Profe respectively. Through Labrador she also learned of her abilities as a descendant from the Krat bloodline, giving her the ability of a prophet, mainly through plants and herbs, despite not being the Ghost Profe. Extra: As the reincarnation of Vertrag, Iliya has the ability to erase or otherwise alter a person’s memories, as well as place seals on them; these seals will harm anyone that tries to read said protected memories. Like the other Ghosts, Vertrag too can leave its host body temporarily (Iliya will appear to be in a comatose-like slumber in such a case). Vertrag also has the ability to manipulate a person’s soul, controlling their movement and speech. In cases where a contract is made with another person, Vertrag can even completely possess them. Since Iliya is technically dead, her heart does not beat and her body does not give off heat, thus she has a much higher tolerance for low temperatures than regular humans do (hot water can warm her body temporarily).
