Name: Marco Silvermane Age: 21 Gender (Both Actual and Self-Perceived if of that orientation): Male Race (Important, Human is not the only kind of Race): Half Kitsune and Half Wolf Ferosian (Beast Man) Mental State: Well adjusted Appearance: Has a strong resemblance to a wolf from his father's genes but with clear Kitsune features from his mother such as a slimmer muzzle, shorter fangs and claws, a longer tail and all around gentler appearance than most Wolf Ferosians. He has Silver Fur, Blue eyes and short hair the same color of his fur which just it make it look like his head has extra fur. He stands at 6'2, a tad bit shorter than the average Wolf Ferosian but is still built like one with a highly defined muscle tone. His usual clothing consists of rather plain and simple clothes, a loose, long sleeved shirt, intentionally ripped in the front to "make it more comfortable", simple pants made of durable material and a leather belt. His kind doesn't wear shoes though as their feet are significantly more beast like then the rest of their body and have great padding on the bottoms. Weapon of Choice (Defines something later on): an expert with swords, but especially great with Katanas. His Kitsune genes allow him the free use of magic as well, and though he is a skilled spell caster, he prefers channeling that power to improve his physical abilities. Personality: A rather calm and collected individual even in hectic situations. He has a strong sense of justice and won't stand idly by when someone is in need. He cherishes all the friendships he's formed over the years and has an unbreakable loyalty to those he cares about. Doesn't believe in the word "impossible" and never gives up on anything he sets out to do. Very Humble. History (Entirely Optional): To better understand Marco's history, I should explain some things about his home world. Marco comes from a world known as Aegis. It has 8 major continents either ruled by Ferosians, the beast race, or Draken, the Dragon Race. Kitsune live among the Ferosian and are treated as Deities due to their mystical powers and Wisdom while True Dragons live amongst the Draken and are treated the same way for the same reason. Ferosian races consist of exclusively of all mammalian species. Though they are not the most advance race, vehicles such as trains and airships exist as well as mech-suits, though they are only used for commercial or military use all these things are powered by Crystals call Elementum. Ferosians can also cast spells, but this requires the use of Elementum to do so. The same goes for Draken for the most part though their use of magic is a bit different. Kitsune and True Dragons are the only ones that can cast magic freely. Marco is from the Ferosian race, but also has the blood of a Kitsune running through him. This came to be when a Kitsune priestess, named Selkie Amala, fell in love with a Wolf Ferosian adventurer, Marcus Silvermane, who found himself in her care after he was severely injured from a climbing accident while trying to scale the mountains that formed a wall around her village. Of course the Marcus was considered a fool because of this as there was a perfectly safe path for anyone wanting to visit the village to take. Though the Selkie thought of him as a fool as well, the Marcus's explanation as to why he climbed the mountain and overall charm eventually won her over as Marcus claimed that his near death experience was worth it since he got to meet her. Marcus made many visits afterwards using the safe path to visit with Selkie and their friendship grew from there. After a while though, Marcus started climbing the mountain again and it was after several failed climbing attempts that Selkie had to ask why he started to climb the mountain again, despite admitting he was a lousy climber, that's when Marcus admitted he was truly in love with her and would prove it by successfully climbing the mountain which took Selkie by surprise and wasn't sure what to say. Most Ferosians who meet a Kitsune confess their love at the very sight of them and their incredible beauty, but these confessions were mostly delusional or simply shallow with no deeper meaning. But Marcus wasn't like that, he didn't love Selkie because of her beauty or the fact she was a Kitsune, he fell in love with her compassion, the way she laughed, her incredible wit and sense of humor, and about a hundred other little details that made her so unique. Before leaving Selkie's village, Marcus made this promise, If he managed to climb to the top the next time he climbed the mountain then he knew they were meant to be...if not, he hoped to stay good friends. Though she desperately tried to convince him to stop, Selkie knew Marcus had already made up his mind. When Marcus finally returned to tackle the mountain one last time, he was filled with determination to reach top. The climb took its toll on Marcus though and at several points his body felt about ready to fail but he pushed on through until he finally reached the top and upon realization of doing so, all the fatigue had left his as he sprang to his feet and gave out a yell of pure joy at the top of his lungs. Unfortunately his celebration was cut short when he realized he left the flag he was going to plant to prove he succeeded at the bottom of the mountain. This absolutely crushed him believing now that if he just returned claiming to have climbed to the top with no proof to show that Selkie would think of him to be lower than every other Ferosian who tossed empty confessions of love at the Kitsune because it would just seem like he came up with an elaborate lie to trick a Kitsune into loving him. At this point, Marcus was convinced he was never meant to be with Selkie until he finally noticed something that completely floored him. Selkie standing at the Top of mountain with him, holding his flag. After a question of how Selkie got up there and a quick explanation of magic. The two embraced and shared a passionate kiss as they planted the flag together. Marcus then asked Selkie if she had anything to do with his success of him reaching the top, to which she denied any involvement...this would be the only time she ever lied to Marcus. Sometime after receiving the blessings of marriage from the Grand Priestess of Selkie's village after determining that the two indeed shared a bond of true love, Marcus and Selkie had moved to a quiet and friendly little town known as Domina, living on just the outskirts in a comfy cabin overlooking a beautiful lake. This was where Marco would eventually be born and raised. This would surprise many though as a half-breed Kitsune was rare. In fact so much so that there have been no recorded births of a half breed throughout history as it was thought to be impossible as Selkie and Marcus weren't the first Kitsune/Ferosian marriage to ever happen, and many among the Kitsune High Priestesses believed Marco was destined for greatness. Despite that though, Marco had a relatively normal childhood growing up as his mother made sure to hide the fact she was a Kitsune using illusion magic. Not because of any danger, but because she wanted to live as normal a life as she could with her family, something that would be hard to do if the towns people kept forming lines outside their home just to meet her. Marco made many friends as he was that mix of cool kid that everybody that everyone wanted to be and nice guy that would take the time to listen and help you out if you needed it. His closest friend was a Cat Ferosian by the name of Felicia Rorona, who had a knack for picking locks and an amazing sleight of hand which she mainly used for card tricks...but, if motivated enough, could easily pick the pocket of someone...even if they were watching her every move. Felicia was also the only one to ever pick up on the fact that Marco's mother was a Kitsune and that he was half one but promised to never reveal their secret. At the age of 18, Marco decided he wanted to go explore the world like his father did before he settled down. Though his mother was hesitant at first, but when his Father mentioned that exploring the world is what brought him and her together...she was now objecting it entirely claiming she wasn't ready to lose her baby boy and almost started crying. To say calming her down was no easy task would be an understatement. But eventually they calmed her and she finally agreed that Marco was old enough to make his own decisions and couldn't hold him back forever. She only asked that before he left that he'd go to her former village and meet with the High Priestess as his first stop on his journey. So armed with the Katana handed down to him by his father and several spells taught to him by his mother, Marco set out to the Kitsune village, but before he could even leave the village his friend Felicia had gotten word of his plans to explore the world and took it upon herself to tag along. It wasn't like she had anything left keeping her in Domina anymore and there were places in the world she always wanted see. Marco gladly accepted her company and the two headed out. Upon reaching the Kitsune village, Marco was met with the High Priestess shortly after arrival. She looked Marco over and then gave him a smile as he embraced him in a hug, little did he know that he was meeting his grand mother for the first time ever. Of course to Felicia it seemed so odd seeings as the High Priestess didn't look much older than Marco's mother, and she didn't look much older than him despite being a few hundred years old. The High Priestess told Marco the History of the Kitsune and how throughout their entire existence he was the first ever of his kind and how she could sense his immense potential. Marco, though astonished to learn he was one of a kind, didn't seem all that interested in the whole destined for greatness thing, even joking how he still only had one tail at the time. His Grandmother, however was convinced he was gonna play a major role in the future events of the world and that his true strength will reveal it's self when it is needed. When he left the Village though and truly started his journey, despite all of his doubts about his potential, Marco constantly found himself wrapped up in situations that seemed to determine the fate of either a city, a kingdom, a country, a continent and even the world on three separate occasions. Each event had earned Marco many friends and Allies, one in particular, an Earth Draken named Razar Ironscale who considered Marco his eternal Rival...as well as his official Best Friend....He's an interesting one. In the span of three years, Marco had attained 7 tails along with greater power that he had no real interest in the first place and is considered one of the great heroes of Aegis, though he'd kindly ask you not to call him one, as he never set out to be one. But with the recent vanquishing of an Ancient Evil behind him, Marco just hopes he can continue his world tour without further incident The sad thing is...I was trying to condense the Bio to make it as short as possible...
You know that one guy that always makes a sarcastic remark? Yeah that's me.
